New market president for Southern California
Humana is pleased to announce that J. Edward Quinlan, Jr. has been appointed Humana's president of specialty products for Southern California. Ed is responsible for the overall management and strategic planning for Humana's dental, vision, group term life, individual term life, disability, accident, critical illness, cancer and stop-loss insurance products in Southern California.
Ed most recently served as regional manager for The Hartford where he was responsible for the company's Northern California, Northern Nevada and Hawaii markets. Previously, he held the role of Principal, National Practice Leader Absence Management for Buck Consultants.
Based in Irvine, Ed will manage a team of sales representatives and account executives focused on new-business sales development and customer relations for the entire Southern California region, which includes sales offices in San Diego, Woodland Hills and Irvine.
