The plan pays cash benefits to employees, in addition to their medical plan, when they're hospitalized, have surgery, visit an emergency room, or see their doctor for an office visit. An annual health screening or wellness benefit rider is also available. They can use the benefits to help pay their share of medical costs, for transportation to and from doctors and treatment facilities, and everyday living expenses such as housing, car payments, utility bills, child care, groceries, and credit card bills - for any need they have.

How to order marketing materials:

Humana associates, log on to the Self-Service section on Howie. Look for "Order Marketing Materials", select Small Business, Specialty, HumanaOne, then click on Workplace Voluntary.

Agents go to Humana.com, select "Marketing and Products," and click on the Specialty Benefits link under "Order Marketing Materials."

Bottom line: Humana Supplemental Health available in Illinois and Hawaii.
