Maryland - HumanaDental Now Available in Maryland
Humana Specialty Benefits recently received DOI approval to launch the 2009 dental portfolio in Maryland.
The product offerings will include a low option PPO, along with a complex oral surgery rider for small and large groups. Humana's 2009 Product Portfolio of PPO, Traditional Preferred, and Preventive Plus dental products are available for quoting with an effective date of July 1, 2011, for groups 2+.
Dental Plan Highlights
Standard coinsurance levels:
- PPO: 100-100-60/100-80-50, 100-90-60/100-80-50, 100-80-50/80-70-40, 100-50-50/80-40-40
- TRP: 100-80-50, 100-50-50, 100-50-30
- Preventive Plus: 100-80-0, 100-50-0
- No waiting periods on major services for voluntary groups of 10 or more enrolled
- Extended annual maximum option for Traditional Preferred and PPO products; members receive 30% coverage on services after they have reached their annual maximum (orthodontics and implants excluded and age and frequency limitations still apply)
- Orthodontic options available for employer sponsored and voluntary groups
- Composite fillings and implants offered for groups of 10 or more enrolled
- Complex oral surgery services offered in either basic or major services for groups of *2 or more enrolled.
- Open enrollment option is also available
* Groups 2-9 enrolled will continue to have a waiting period applied to the complex oral surgery services if this rider is selected.
