Humana Group Medicare - Ease of Transition
Humana's Medicare Advantage plan allow clients to leverage available CMD funding, clinical and wellness services, and integrated administration. The result is more efficient, often less costly, retiree medical benefits that are easy for clients to administer and easy for plan members to use compared to traditional retiree medical plans.
Humana is here to help you transition your clients to a Humana Group Medicare plan. In many cases, Group Medicare requires a more consultative approach than other products. Through consultation and predictive modeling, our experienced team, can work with you to help craft a benefits program that meets your clients' financial and coverage goals.
- With Medicare, secondary, and pharmacy coverage folded into a single plan, administration is easier - which translates to additional savings.
For each client, Humana assigns a dedicated account installation manager (AIM) to handle operational aspects of implementing retiree medical benefits. To implement the plan effectively, the client has an implementation meeting with Humana 60 to 90 days prior to the effective date.

- Paper or electronic enrollment options
- Educational seminars
- Dedicated Group Medicare call centers
