Drug List Change Opt-Out Reminder going out

Employers to be notified of drug list changes coming Jan. 1.

For the past two months, you've probably heard from your sales executive about the changes coming to Humana's Drug List on Jan. 1.

We've notified you with letters summarizing what will be changing and we're preparing for employer notification. Fully-insured employers will receive letters at the end of September and ASO employers will be contacted at the beginning of November.

Only those members using impacted medications will be notified. Impacted members are determined based upon claims data received from May through July 2011. Member notifications will occur on a staggered basis between late September and early November.

The 2012 Drug Lists are now available on Humana.com. The lists should be included in open enrollment kits for groups effective in 2012.
