RightSourceRx Specialty – one-stop for specialty drugs

Members taking certain specialty medications now have an easier way to fill their prescriptions. Humana Pharmacy Solutions recently opened RightSourceRx Specialty^SM, its full-service, mail-order pharmacy specializing in therapies for chronic and complex illnesses.

Revised Pre-Renewal Worksheet and process

Large Group Medical Underwriting introduced a new process to capture employer contribution levels and employee participation levels at renewal. We need this group demographic information because of its impact on the rating formula.

POP fees for workplace voluntary benefits

New and renewal POP administrative fees now are included in the cost of new Humana workplace voluntary benefits for groups with a minimum of 25 lives.

We’ve launched a new Website to support members deciding on healthcare following a loss of employment. The website, HumanaCobra.com, details COBRA, State Continuation, and HumanaOne options, including the benefits and costs.

Introducing Humana Prosper

We're introducing an innovative product that combines the services of integrated medical-behavioral healthcare (IMBH), EAP/work-life, and wellness telephone health coaching with a new single counselor approach and member portal.

CoverageFirst bonus extended for small businesses

You can continue to earn $25 for each employee enrolled in Humana CoverageFirst plans with effective dates of coverage through Jan. 31, 2010. The bonus applies to groups with 2-99 employees and to new business only.

Lowering health risks and healthcare costs

Humana offers a Disease Management program to help employees live with and better manage ongoing and costly illnesses. We also offer our Personal Nurse program, a phone-based service for members Humana thinks will benefit from additional support – at no cost to the employee.
