This program offers prenatal education and guidance from the early stages of pregnancy through baby’s first months. Members are encouraged to enroll online or by phone as soon as they know they're pregnant.
Services Provided by Specially Trained Nurses
A HumanaBeginnings nurse works with the expectant mother to help her make the best choices to achieve a healthy, full-term pregnancy, thereby avoiding premature births and the associated costs.

- Designed to promote healthy behaviors and habits during pregnancy
- Education and support from a registered nurse throughout pregnancy and baby’s first months
- Education materials, including a well-known pregnancy book and informational newsletters
- Closely integrated and coordinated with Neonatal Case Management
