How a Classic Plan Works

The Classic plan gives members a great deal of choice and flexibility:

• Members don’t have to pay more for out-of-network doctors and hospitals
  
  
• Out-of-pocket costs may include copayments, deductible, and coinsurance
  
  
• If a member reaches the out-of-pocket maximum, the plan pays 100 percent of additional covered expenses during the plan year, other than copayments if required
