Humana's Medicare Employer PDP 102 plan has no deductible, so it can help your retirees save money on their prescription drugs as soon as the plan year starts. In addition, the plan has predictable copayments that make it easier for your retirees to budget for prescription drug costs.
How Humana's Medicare Employer PDP 102 Works
Humana's Medicare Employer PDP 102 plan offers broad coverage to help members manage their drug costs.
Here's how the plan works in 2010:
- The plan has no annual deductible
- Members have set copayments and coinsurance for covered drugs until for covered drugs until total drug costs paid by both the member and the plan reach $2,830
- If a member's drug costs surpass $2,830, the member enters the "coverage gap" - the member pays 100 percent of drug costs until he or she spends a total out-of-pocket of $4,550 on covered drugs
- After that, members pay the greater of $2.50 for generic/preferred multi-source drugs, $6.30 for all other drugs, or 5 percent coinsurance for the remainder of the plan year

When you choose a Humana Medicare Employer PDP, retiree members receive the following extra services at no additional cost in 2010. The products and services described below are neither offered nor guaranteed under our contract with the Medicare program. In addition, they aren't subject to the Medicare appeals process. Any disputes regarding these products and services may be subject to the Humana grievance process.
