Use MyHealth Record on Humana.com

Keeping and reading your own medical records does more than anything to help you make informed health decisions and avoid medical mistakes.

MyHumana makes it easy to for you to keep track of your immunizations, doctors, illnesses, and surgeries. Taking this information with you when you go to the doctor helps you be prepared for health decisions. Also, having health records from all your doctors gives your doctor better information for suggesting treatments.

Create your own health record
1. Got to humana.com and log in to MyHumana — If you haven't registered for MyHumana, you need to do that first
2. Place your mouse on "Health Resources" at the top of the page
3. Follow the link to "MyHealth Record"
4. Choose "Edit" in each section to enter your lists of immunizations, medicines, surgeries, family medical history, and doctors' names and phone numbers
5. Before seeing a new doctor, print the record and take it along
6. Create records for your kids too
