Member Guidance
If you're a new or renewing Humana plan member, your employer may have asked Humana to mail you a copy of “My Humana Handbook.” Consider the booklet an owner's manual for your Humana plan.
Please note: Due to plan differences, your employer must have at least 100 employees to receive this kit. Small business employees receive another version of the member guide.
How to get more from your health plan
"My Humana Handbook" shows how easy it is to manage your health benefits and expenses – and get more from your Humana plan.
Handbook Contents
The booklet shows you how to get started with your plan and includes:
- Three simple ways to get the most from your plan – Register for MyHumana, find providers, manage your documents
- Using your plan – ID cards, getting medical care, plan's costs, and finance information
- Getting the most from your plan – Doctor's checklist, medications, MyHumana, and other resources available to you
- Additional plan resources – Your checkups, immunization guidelines, member rights and responsibilities
These programs and tools are not insurance products and are not guaranteed under any contract. Humana is not required to provide these services, but makes them available to eligible members at no additional cost.
