A simple choice
The PFFS plan is very simple. The plan doesn't have a list of providers, so you have coverage with any provider who accepts Medicare patients and agrees to Humana’s payment terms and conditions.
With this plan, you get all the benefits of Original Medicare, plus prescription drug coverage and added features like our fitness programs and Humana Active OutlookSM.
And since Humana is one of the largest and most experienced Medicare benefits providers in the country, you have the advantage of working with a company that understands what consumers want in their Medicare benefits.
How the plan works
With the Humana Gold Choice PFFS plan, you enjoy several features and benefits:
- Freedom to choose doctors, specialists, and hospitals
- Primary care doctor’s office visits and annual routine physicals
- No copayment for preventive services, including cancer screenings and immunizations, for most plans
- Emergency coverage anywhere in the world
- Prescription drug benefits equal to or better than the minimum Medicare requirements for a Part D plan – including coverage for all of the most commonly prescribed drugs for seniors*
Because the Humana Gold Choice PFFS plan includes prescription drug coverage that’s equal to or better than the minimum Medicare requirements for a Part D plan, you don't need a separate prescription drug plan or Medicare Supplement.
