Since 2007, Humana's bariatric management team has guided thousands of members by:
- Helping members understand their benefits
- Explaining surgery options, surgical criteria, and eligibility
- Helping members choose a participating surgeon and hospital that meet requirements for bariatric surgery coverage - a Bariatric Center of Excellence, as certified by the American College of Surgeons or the Surgical Review Corporation
