What is MTM?

Medication Therapy Management (MTM) is a federally designed program sponsored by Humana that helps educate Medicare members about their medications.

MTM will help you:

  • Get the greatest benefit from your medications
  • Reduce the risk of harmful side effects
  • Find lower-cost alternatives to your prescribed medications

There are minimum requirements for participation in MTM. When these requirements are met, members receive MTM information in their next SmartSummary Rx®.
