Holding Down Costs
Humana has designed these plans to get members the drugs they need, while holding down unnecessary costs. These plans are subject to change.
Rx4
The lower the drug's coverage level (One, Two, Three or Four), the less the member pays. Level One, with the lowest copayment, includes many popular generic drugs.
Rx4 with Deductible
Level One drugs, including many generics, are not subject to a deductible and have the lowest copayment. The member pays an annual combined deductible for drugs in Levels Two, Three and Four.
After meeting the deductible, the member pays a fixed copayment or percentage for each prescription; the plan pays the rest.
RxImpact
Prescriptions most likely to prevent illness are in the first tier, regardless of their cost. Because each level includes generic and brand-name drugs, members can save money by talking to their doctor about lower-priced medications.
