Because members require flexibility in their health plan, Humana offers three kinds of Medicare Advantage plans – Private Fee-for-Service (PFFS), HMO and PPO.

Gold Choice PFFS

Humana Gold Choice^® PFFS

Members can choose any medical provider who participates with Medicare and agrees to accept Humana's payment terms and conditions.

Gold Choice HMO

Humana Gold Plus^® HMO

This Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) plan offers all the benefits of Original Medicare plus prescription drug coverage and many extras. Out-of-pocket costs are lower than with other types of plans.

A Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plan gives members freedom to choose which doctors, specialists and hospitals they visit.
