Humana Introduces Member Summary Tool

In June 2012, Humana introduced the Humana Member Summary, a tool that gives physicians a high-level overview of a patient’s key quality-related metrics and medically relevant information in a consolidated format.

Each Humana Member Summary will include a maximum of three pages per patient. It is designed to be printed and saved into the patient’s medical record for use at the point of care.

The Humana Member Summary will be available for both Medicare and commercial members. It can be accessed through Humana.com and Availity.com as part of the eligibility and benefits verification process.
