What is the Humana Communities Benefit program?
Humana Communities Benefit is a charitable-giving program that awards a one-time $100,000 signature grant to a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization in each eligible location focused on improving health experiences or building healthy communities in the areas of:
- Childhood Health and Education: projects or initiatives that improve the health and wellness of children through education.
- Health Literacy and Services: projects or initiatives that enhance people’s ability to access, understand, and use reliable health information or services that promote healthy living.
- Intergenerational Health: projects or initiatives that create opportunities for multiple generations to engage with each other in healthy and meaningful ways.
Sponsored by the Humana Foundation, the goal of this $100,000 contribution to a nonprofit in each eligible location is to make a positive, transformational impact on the organization that allows it to reach greater milestone goals.
