The Humana Starlight Award is taking on a new look starting in 2013.
The Humana Starlight Award will recognize outstanding nonprofit organizations for their work in inspiring well-being with seniors.
Through the Starlight Award, Humana will present a $10,000 grant to a qualifying nonprofit organization in a Humana Starlight Award market. The award is designed to recognize a nonprofit organization focused on the well-being of seniors by:
- Encouraging and supporting volunteerism with seniors age 65 and older
- Connecting volunteers of all ages with seniors in the community
- Developing programs or initiatives promoting healthy lifestyles for seniors
