Prepaid/DHMO

Preventive dental care is important to overall health. To encourage preventive care among their employees, clients in selected HumanaDental markets can take advantage of the HumanaDental Prepaid/Dental Health Maintenance Organization (DHMO) plan. Dentists in the plan network provide services for a pre-negotiated price. Out-of-network services are covered in an emergency.

The HumanaDental Prepaid/DHMO plan offers a wide range of benefits and supports preventive dental care.

Benefit options

The following benefit options are generally available for HumanaDental Prepaid/DHMO plans. Actual benefits vary by state.

  • Several deductible options
  • Orthodontia options, including treatment for adults
  • Discounts may be available with in-network providers for services and materials not covered by the plan. However, out-of-pocket expenses for these non-covered services don't apply to any deductible or annual maximum.
