We’re working hard to make it easy and affordable for our Medicare Advantage, Medicaid and employer group members to access the care they need from the comfort and safety of their homes.
That’s why, through the end of 2020, we’re waiving member out-of-pocket costs for telehealth visits (also known as telemedicine) with participating in-network providers, including routine visits for primary and specialty care and behavioral health services. This expanded coverage includes audio-only telephone consultations as well as online visits with your current healthcare providers if they are set up to offer telehealth services.
In addition, for our Medicare Advantage members:
- This waiver also applies to nationwide in-network telemedicine provider MDLIVE® and to Amwell® via humana.amwell.com, using the service key “humana.”*
For our commercial members:
- This waiver also applies to nationwide in-network employer-group telemedicine provider Doctor On Demand®, although certain ASO employer groups may have opted out of this benefit option. Please check with your plan administrator to confirm coverage.
For our Medicaid members:
- For Humana Medicaid plans in Florida, this waiver applies to Amwell®, a statewide in-network telehealth provider.
