A lot of successful caregiving is about managing your energy. Help yourself when you operate at “full” caregiving power. Just taking a short break, like when your loved one is resting, can help restore some of your spark.

Consider trying:

  • Stretching or meditating
  • Listening to music
  • Walking the dog
  • Enjoying a hobby
