May 12th is National Women's Checkup Day, an important day that reminds women across the country to make a date with their doctors!

Being healthy starts with getting in the driver’s seat—and getting a Vitality Check will put you on the road to wellness. A Vitality Check will help you learn the facts about where you may be at risk so you can start making decisions about getting healthier. Ready to take part in National Women's Checkup Day? Here all the ways you can earn Vitality Points for preventative screenings, and how often you should schedule them:

Every six months:
Dental Exam: Smile for your dentist twice a year for cleanings and other preventative maintenance, and earn 200 Vitality Points for each visit!

Once a year:
Vitality Check: Get big Vitality Points with an annual Vitality Check, a blood screening and biometric assessment that measures BMI (body mass index), blood pressure, blood sugar, and total cholesterol.

Health Screening: Earn 400 Vitality Points for these important preventative care screenings:

  • Pap Smear: female 18+
  • Mammogram: female, age 40+
  • Colorectal screening, age 50+

Vision Exam: Annual exams are suggested for anyone with current vision problems—earn 200 Vitality Points for you or your covered adult dependents.
