Prescription Limit Waived for Adults
| 21 and older | Get your medications easily when you need them. If you are a Humana member age 21 and older, the six-prescription monthly limit does not apply. Members can receive more prescriptions when needed, and there is no limit on the total number of prescriptions you may have. However, members may receive up to two brand-name prescriptions each month. A third brand-name prescription may be approved if your doctor says it is medically needed. For more information, please call Member Services or talk with your pharmacy.
All prescriptions are still subject to state and federal requirements for Drug Utilization Review, safety edits, quantity limits, and Prior Authorizations.

Produce Box for Maternal Care | All ages | To reduce access and cost barriers, Humana provides up to four boxes of in-season, nutritious, fresh food annually to pregnant members from their second trimester to 60 days postpartum, with Care Manager approval. Each box includes an educational pamphlet with recipes and meal ideas tailored to the specific items in the delivery. Participation in HumanaBeginnings is required. |
