Accountable care at Humana

The health care system is evolving – moving away from the traditional fee-for-service reimbursement model that revolves around sick care. A new reimbursement model is emerging in its place – accountable care that rewards physicians for the outcomes people achieve.

At Humana, we’re partnering with physicians in a variety of ways to shape health care for the future. Together, we’re striving to improve care coordination, lower health care costs and deliver higher quality care. Because we’re finding that when we come together, we’re all better.
