As you prepare the menu for your family dinner party, you hear grandma's voice urging you to serve her famous lasagna, but her recipe is sure to break your diet. Don't fret! By changing a few ingredients, you can make her recipe healthier while still tasting delicious.
At the opening of its new Louisville Guidance Center, Humana and HumanaVitality co-hosted a Secrets of Bluegrass Chefs Showdown, challenging local top chefs to make over three family recipes. Chefs Allen Hubbard from Martini Italian Bistro, Patrick Roney from The Oakroom and Rob Henry from the Louisville Episcopal Church Home transformed lasagna, macaroni and cheese and cheesy grits into three nutritious and delicious lighter dishes by substituting a few simple ingredients. See these chefs in action in the video below.
