  1. Set your goal
    Are you hoping to finish a race or are you looking to improve your time? The best way to make a goal a reality is to write it down and refer to it often. Write down your specific, measurable goal in a place where you can see and be reminded of it. Post your goal on your refrigerator, desk at work or mirror and you’ll be sure to think about it throughout your day.
