Dental benefits for members 21 and older
Humana Healthy Horizons® in Louisiana members have a $500 annual allowance to get specific dental services, including:
- Annual preventive services (e.g., cleanings, fillings, X-rays, etc.)
- Extractions
- Restorative services
- Members who need adult denture services or dentures may qualify for coverage.
- Routine dental exams
Members must get these services from an in-network provider.

Dental coverage for members 20 and younger
To stay healthy, children should see their dentist regularly from birth through age 20. Dental services are part of the Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic and Treatment (EPSDT) services children with Humana Healthy Horizons® in Louisiana coverage get.

Information for new members
When you enroll (or are enrolled) in Humana Healthy Horizons in Louisiana, please call us at 1-800-448-3810 (TTY: 711), Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m., to let us know about any dental services you have planned after your first day of coverage with us begins, including:
- Nonroutine dental services (e.g., braces)
