What are Special Supplemental Benefits for the Chronically Ill?

SSBCI are benefits offered on certain Medicare Advantage plans for people with eligible long-term chronic health conditions who are at high risk of hospitalization or other adverse health outcomes and require intensive care coordination. These benefits are not part of Original Medicare. They’re meant to support a person’s health and daily needs.
