Your safety and well-being are Humana's top priority. We have taken these steps to assist our members in declared disaster areas:
- Cancel all requirements for primary care physician (PCP) referrals and prior authorizations for members.
- Members will have the same cost sharing as they would if they went to an in-network facility even if they receive care outside of the network.
- Suspend restrictions on refills for members with pharmacy benefits to accommodate travel and evacuation difficulties.
- Establish a free crisis intervention hotline and counseling services aimed not only at health plan employees and members, but also at anyone who may need help and support to cope with the disaster and its consequences. You can reach Humana's work / life program counselors and specialists by phone at 1-888-673-1154) (TTY: 711), who are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide confidential assistance to those who need help.
