The Healthy Options allowance helps eligible Humana Medicare Advantage plan members pay for eligible essential living expenses like groceries, over-the-counter (OTC) products and more at participating retailers.

Who qualifies for the allowance?
The Healthy Options allowance is offered to eligible members enrolled in the following Humana Medicare Advantage plans:
- Many
Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (DSNPs) - Select
Chronic Condition Special Needs Plans (CSNPs) - Certain members on select Medicare Advantage plans may also be eligible if they have certain chronic conditions and meet other requirements.

Starting in 2025, all Humana plans that offer a Healthy Options allowance will include the Healthy Options allowance rollover. While enrolled in the plan, any unused balance from 1 month will rollover to the next month and expire at the end of the plan year or disenrollment from the plan.
