The Office of Nursing Collaborative represents a community of nearly 10,000 nurses across the Humana enterprise. The goal is to advance the intentional presence of nurses throughout Humana, creating a culture where nurses are valued, inspired and engaged.

    • Utilizes behavioral health knowledge to support the coordination of medical services
    Care Manager / Case Manager
    • Works with patients/members to assess and evaluate members needs
    • Field Care and Home Health positions work in member’s homes, while Telephonic positions contact members via phone
    • Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations
    • Reviews prior authorization requests for appropriate care
    Nurse Practitioner
    • Provides health promotion and maintenance through the diagnosis and treatment of acute illness and chronic conditions; primarily in outpatient clinics with senior-focused care
    • Support the coordination of medical services and/or benefit administration determinations
