Retail clinics and urgent care centers give quality care in many emergencies. These providers are:
- Convenient: Most open early, close late, and have weekend hours
- Quick: You don’t need an appointment, and it takes less time than an emergency room (ER).

Emergency room
Dial 911 or get to your nearest ER if you have a sudden, serious problem that:
