Preventive care is often the easiest to forget. By keeping up-to-date on all your necessary screenings, exams and immunizations, you may be able to help prevent serious illness and protect your overall health. We can help you take steps to maintain your health with resources on common preventive care procedures.
See your provider for preventive well care. This means going to your doctor at least once a year, even if you do not feel sick. Regular checkups, tests, and health screenings can help your doctor find and treat problems early before they become serious.
Preventive care includes things such as immunizations, diabetes screening and health and wellness screenings. Preventive care also includes screening for common diseases and cancers, clinical and behavioral interventions to manage chronic disease and reduce associated risks, and counseling to support healthy living and self-management of chronic disease.
All preventive care visits are paid for by your health plan. You are encouraged to use all preventive care visits services.
