With a Humana prescription mail-order delivery service, you may have access to mail delivery pharmacies like Humana Pharmacy®. Mail delivery pharmacies can ship some medications right to your door.

Accepting mail-order delivery

For example, Humana Pharmacy allows members to:

  • Fill prescriptions for maintenance medications 3 months at a time.
  • Receive most new prescriptions 7 to 10 days after you place your initial Humana Pharmacy order, and 5 to 7 days when you place a refill order.
  • Talk directly to a pharmacist.
  • Pharmacists review each new prescription filled at Humana Pharmacy.

Specialty drugs for special conditions

Some Humana plans offer access to specialty pharmacies, such as Humana Specialty Pharmacy, which fill prescriptions for specialty drugs for chronic and complex conditions. For more information on Humana Specialty Pharmacy:

Humana is a Medicare Advantage HMO, PPO and PFFS organization and a stand-alone prescription drug plan with a Medicare contract. Enrollment in any Humana plan depends on contract renewal.

Pharmacy® mail delivery shipments for new prescriptions are typically received within 7-10 days from the date of your order and in 5-7 days for a refill. If you don’t receive your shipment within these estimated times, call 1-800-379-0092 (TTY: 711). Humana Pharmacy is available Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 11 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. – 6:30 p.m., Eastern time.
