Statewide coverage

Humana Gold Plus Integrated is available statewide in Illinois. This expansion means that all Illinois residents who are eligible to receive Medicare and Medicaid coverage and benefits can enroll in our health plan.

All health plan materials are available in alternative formats, including large print, Braille, and audio. To receive any plan material in an alternative format, please call Customer Care at 800-787-3311 (TTY: 711), Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m., Central time.

Behavioral health resources

We partner with Beacon Health to help provider integrated behavioral health services, such as:

  • Psychiatric services
  • Rehabilitation

MyHumana is our secure member portal. After you create an account, you have 24/7 access to your personal information, and you can:

  • Check the status of your claims

COVID-19 vaccine

Everyone in Illinois 6 months old and older can get a COVID-19 vaccine.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted full use authorization for the following COVID-19 vaccine:

  • The Moderna vaccine, for people 18 years of age and older (2 doses, administered 21 days apart, are needed)
  • The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine (also known as Comirnaty), for people 16 and older (2 doses, administered 21 days apart, are needed)

The FDA has granted emergency use authorization for the following COVID-19 vaccines:

  • The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, for people between the ages of 6 months and 15 (2 doses, administered 21 days apart, are needed for people 5 and older; 3 doses for children younger than 5)
  • The Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, for children between 6 months and 5 (2 doses)
  • The Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) vaccine, for people 18 years old and older (1 dose needed)

COVID-19 booster dose

Booster doses of COVID-19 vaccine can help improve your immunity. The CDC recommends everyone eligible for the booster get it.

The CDC recommends a second booster of either Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine at least 4 months after the first booster for:

  • Adults ages 50 years and older
  • People who are moderately or severely immunocompromised

  • Help keep you from getting COVID-19
  • Not give you COVID-19
  • Be an important tool to help stop the pandemic

There are many reasons to get a COVID-19 vaccine. The more people who get the vaccine, the more people protected. Do your part to crush COVID-19.

Free transportation is available for members who need to fill a prescription or get medical supplies, equipment, or other pharmacy-related items after a doctor’s visit. To set up this type of transportation, call Customer Care at 800-787-3311 (TTY: 711), Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m., Central time.

If you need a ride to a healthcare appointment that is not an emergency, call 855-253-6867 (TTY: 711), Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. Central time.
