During and after pregnancy, you and your body will go through many changes. Most of those changes will be normal. Some changes may not be normal. They could be a sign of serious problems that can cause long-term effects or even death.
You may not know how to tell the difference between normal and abnormal changes. But, you know when something feels wrong. If you are worried about symptoms or changes, talk to your doctor. We want you to make sure you get the care you need.
If you are pregnant or have been pregnant within the past year, and have any of these urgent maternal warning signs, get medical care right away.
