Humana is proud to partner with the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (IDHFS) opens in new window to provide integrated Medicaid and Medicare coverage to eligible Illinois residents. Humana Dual Fully Integrated (HMO D-SNP) in Illinois offers special benefits, including prescription drug coverage. Many of our SNP include a healthy options allowance to help pay for things like food, pet supplies, utility bills or rent¹.

Who can enroll?

You must be eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid to enroll. Humana coordinates your benefits to help you get the most out of your coverage.

Humana is a Dual Eligible Special Needs plan with a Medicare contract and a contract with the state Medicaid program. Enrollment in any Humana plan depends on contract renewal.
