$35 or less monthly copays for all Humana-covered Part D insulins

Humana Medicare members will pay $35 or less for a 1-month (up to a 30 day) supply of insulin. This will begin on Jan. 1, 2023. Members with Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug (MAPD) or Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plans (PDP) all qualify for the benefit.

Here is some additional information about your new insulin benefits that may not be described in your current Humana plan materials:

  • You will pay $35 or less for a 30-day supply of insulin covered by your plan, no matter which cost-sharing tier the insulin is in
  • The benefit begins day 1 of your plan start date
  • The benefit applies throughout the entire year, even if you haven’t met your deductible
  • All Medicare members are eligible even if you qualify for the Low-Income Subsidy available under the Medicare Part D prescription drug program, including those who receive “Extra Help”
