If you have a caregiver, Humana is here to support them—so they can better support you.

Caregiver support
Everyone needs a little help sometime. For our members under age 18, that help may come from a parent or guardian. For our members older than age 18, that help may come from another type of caregiver. We make information and resources available to the people caring for our members, no matter their age.
What does a caregiver do?
Caregivers have an important role. They help loved ones maintain their health and well-being.
A caregiver may help with personal care, health and wellness, household chores, companionship, and safety checks. A caregiver may help their child—our member—access the benefits that we offer our members. This means that if you are the parent or guardian of a Humana Healthy Horizons in Kentucky member who is 17 or younger, we can help you help your child make the most of his or her health plan.
Caregivers can help with many types of activities, including:
- Staying in touch with loved ones
- Managing finances
- Traveling to and from appointments
- Setting up a safe home
- Shopping for groceries and cooking
- Finding activities to do together
