Humana Healthy Horizons® in Florida members get extras that go beyond the doctor’s office—like access to tutoring, counseling, help paying certain types of bills, and even swim lessons for our members under age 21.
For members under age 21
Get help with schoolwork with online tutoring
We know that helping your kids stay healthy takes more than doctor visits. Their education plays a big part in their overall health.¹ Members in grades K-12 can access online tutoring services for 2 hours per week through Tutor.com. This is at no extra cost.
Through online sessions with Tutor.com, our members under age 21 can get:
- Help with homework, tests, essays, and more
- On-demand, 1-on-1 support—up to 2 hours per week
- Spanish-speaking tutors in core subjects
To access Tutor.com resources:
.Visit Tutor.com - When promoted, login using your Medicaid ID number as your username and “Humana” as your password.
- After logging in, you can change your password by clicking on the “My Account” button.
Swimming lessons (drowning prevention)
We will reimburse our members under age 21 up to $200 for the cost of swim lessons. This reimbursement is available to the first 1,000 members each year who submit receipts for their swim lessons.
To submit a reimbursement request for the cost of your swim lessons:
- Complete the appropriate form
- Include the receipts showing how much you paid

Hearing services
- One hearing aid assessment, fitting, checking, and evaluation every two years
- One in-ear monaural hearing aid per ear each year
- One hearing aid, all other types, per ear every two years
Housing assistance
Our members can get up to a maximum of $500 per household, per lifetime for help paying rent or certain utility bills.
