Dental

Targeted case management

Targeted Case Management (TCM) consists of services that assist an individual eligible under the State Plan in gaining access to needed medical, social, educational, and other services. Call 888-356-2197.

Home- and community-based waiver services

Home- and Community-Based Waiver Services target persons with long-term care needs and provide access to services that enable them to remain at home rather than in an institutional setting. An array of Home-and Community-Based Services provides enhanced coordination in the delivery of medical care for long-term care populations. Call Waiver Administrations at 803-898-9671.

MAPPS Family-planning services

Medicaid Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Services (MAPPS) provide Medicaid-funded family-planning services to at-risk youths. MAPPS are designed to prevent teenage pregnancy among at risk youths, promote abstinence, and educate youth to make responsible decisions about sexual activity. These services are provided in schools, office settings, homes, and other approved settings.

Developmental evaluation services

Developmental Evaluation Services (DECs) are defined as medically necessary comprehensive neurodevelopment and psychological developmental, evaluation and treatment services for Medicaid beneficiaries between the ages of 0 to 21 years of age.
